Detailed Job Description:
* Extensive experience in Design and Development for one or more projects.
* Should be well versed with Data Lake and Data Analytics.
* Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation & provide on time status – strong project management skills as well.
* 6+ years Development/Consulting or IT Development/ Consulting Experience.
* Understanding of core Data Lake/Data Analytics/Data warehousing/Java technology: Bigdata utilities such as Map Reduce, Hive, Spark, Pig and Python.
* Map Reduce API development experience, Hive QL, Spark SQL, Hive UDFs and shell scripting experience.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Bigdata Technologies.
* At least 2+ years of experience in Bigdata projects in Media domain.
Technical Skills:
* Strong Data Lake design, Data Analytics, Data modeling and SQL skills,
* Good experience in Bigdata tools and utilities – Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark with Python / Scala.
* Bigdata, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing. Data Lake and Java concepts,
* Good UNIX/Linux and shell scripting skills.
