Job Description:
o Use considerable technical expertise and judgement to define and implement technical database solutions that support the business needs.
o Provide optimization and design skills, including deployment and support in the Oracle database systems both on-premise and OCI.
o Knowledge of multiple OCI IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services.
o Provisioning and administration of variety of Cloud resources in OCI.
o Proficient in RMAN, OEM, Multitenancy databases & DR
o Well versed in OCI IAM/IDCS policies and administration.
o Refine / Develop Oracle strategies and capacity planning.
o Ensure Oracle database system desired performance and security baselines are met as per business need.
o Ensure HA / DR database environments are operational and consistent as per business requirements.
o Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain the Oracle environment.
o Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in work practices
o Participate in after-hours changes and patching.
o Provide strategic input to design and quality assurance of Oracle database technology solutions.
o Confer with systems users to develop areas of change in requirements, which permit greater efficiency, systems integration or cost reduction
o Provide effective and efficient database system support to customers meeting all ticket / requests / Change SLAs.
o Assist application support teams with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
o Contribute to the creation of technical strategies
