Key Areas of Responsibility / Duties:
Capture ETL & Reporting and Analytic Requirements.
Design, develop, and test processes for extracting data from source applications.
Design, develop, and test processes for loading initial and cyclical data into a data warehouse.
Determine which data elements are historic and the retention period for historic data.
Participate in the creation of semantic data models designed to meet reporting/analytic requirements.
Design, develop and test BI solutions that make information available for our Business.
Coordinate Development activities with other team members on-site, and off-shore.
Qualifications (Skill/Education Requirements):
BA/BS degree in an Information Technology or Business-related field required
5+ years of related Information Technology Management or Data Warehousing – experience with Teradata and/or Teradata Partner products a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and innovation
3+ years of experience using Informatica PowerCenter, (Cloud is a plus)
Good understanding of ETL processes and ETL best practices..
Experience as an ETL developer sourcing data from SFDC or Workday application environments a plus
Experience/Familiarity with Teradata RDBMS, Teradata SQL and Teradata utilities (BTEQ, MLOAD, TPT) desired
Experience with SAP BI tools (Business Objects Webi, Explorer, Dashboards, Lumira, etc.) or Microsoft Power BI a plus
Experience working with off-shore developers is a plus
Strong communication skills
Strong MS Office skills required.
Experience with the ERwin data modeling tool a plus
