NETWORK SECURITY ARCHITECT - JOBS IN - 'QUEENS PLAZA NORTH, LONG ISLAND CITY' - 'NEW YORK'

Primarily with Network Security products from different vendors like Palo Alto and Checkpoint. would design, confirm, determine, and/or troubleshoot traffic flows, security implementation and configurations etc. Network Security Services include daily maintenance and operations of multiple customers’ network security infrastructure. The successful candidate will be required to troubleshoot firewall traffic flows, as well as maintain accurate documentation of network security products, support activities and processes. The candidate will also be required to work independently and remotely when troubleshooting and must also can solve problems with minimal client input and ability to escalate when solution is not readily apparent.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Provide day to day operational support for the infrastructure security Management services.
2. Quickly respond, troubleshoot and implement resolutions for client issue.
3. Major incident/change handling, incident response and escalation management
4. Problem management, RCA creation and presentation
5. Offer proactive advice on implemented services
6. Provide accurate reports that demonstrate performance, drive improvement and prevent issues through various dashboard

1. Creation of network Security   HLD/LLD
2. Establish periodical review of IT security to ensure appropriate security implementation.

Mandatory Skills and Competencies:

3. Having good experience of supporting infrastructure security management solution
4. Expertise on any two firewall specially Palo Alto and Checkpoint.
5. Expertise on IPSEC TUNNEL, Global Protect VPN and other advance security features of ng firewalls
6. Expertise on Cloudflare web application firewall or any other WAF
7. Good to have understanding on Endpoint security
8. Experience of working in cloud-based network
1. Implements security solution infrastructure including planning, design, configuration.
10. Working knowledge of Vulnerability assessment (preferably Nessus)
11. Good Understanding of security compliance framework

2.  Good Communication presentation skill
3.  Security audit experience
4.  Good written and verbal communication skills
5.  Certification on Palo-Alto will be an added advantage
