Experience of working with Life Science s customers (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience with building big data solution and data lakes
• Self-starter with an in-depth hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Atleast one implementation with GCP
• Ability to design & implement cloud native solutions on Google cloud platform.
• Design discussions and reviews with Infrastructure, Networking, Security, compliance and big data teams
• Demonstrate Google Cloud Platform & services capabilities through PoC
• Build design and development artifacts, code and scripts to integrate with core infrastructure and taking applications to production
• Build analytics services on GCP
• Build and deploy micro services based applications in public cloud Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes
• Trouble shooting and finding alternative solutions with team
• Writing and directing team to create operational procedures for operations team
• Working with Product vendor for any product level issues and review
Roles & Responsibilities
• Deep expertise in Google cloud’s data storage solutions such as BigTable, BigQuery
• Experience with machine learning & AI products on Google cloud platform
• Experience in implementing centralized log solutions
• Experience with designing/ implementing both native & hybrid security solutions on Google cloud which may involve 3rd party security products.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery
models
• Experience with Python, Java programming languages
• Experience with Linux / RHEL 6.x and 7.x / Shell Scripting
• Automation using Ansible or other tools
• Experience in designing solutions involving Compute Engine, Cloud Sql,VPC, Cloud IAM, Cloud SDK, Cloud API
• Container experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
• Experience of building cluster based platform
• Strong Linux Administration skills especially RHEL
• Strong understanding of groups, policies etc.,
• Infrastructure management experience including enterprise grade tools in back up and disaster recovery, security, monitoring tools , ITSM, encryption etc.,
• Excellent Communication & presentation skill
