- Design, build new and maintain and modify existing scripts to
- Transfer files via sftp or scp using userid/password OR sshkeys
- Scripting ability to parse log files to determine source and destination systems and file flow for existing ftp platform
- Ability to read existing scripts and modify them, or comprehend existing scripts and re-write for greater efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Candidate must work with unix admins, development team members and other teams to create specifications and design and then document and implement solutions
- 5+ years of bash shell scripting required, and perl or python scripting skills are a big plus
- 5+ linux admin skills required with knowledge of sshkeys, encryption using gpg,
