Role: Azure Data Architect
Location: Initial Remote (Bellevue, WA)
Long Term Contract – W2 & C2C
Job Description:
- Experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence domain with the ability to collect requirements and translate them into Design & Technical specifications Gathering & Cataloguing information related to applications, technologies, and other information related to the enterprise landscape Preparing business cases for changes, rationalization, or transformation of applications within the landscape.
- Work with the application, technology, product, and domain owners to ensure that roadmaps are present & maintained for their respective entries in the catalog Assist in Architecture Review Board processes, including monitoring the pipeline of requests and scheduling reviews with the Global EA.
- Must have azure cloud platform ( Azure and Snowflake) hands-on experience.
- Hands-on experience in creating data pipelines, data flow, and complex data transformations and manipulations using ADF and Databricks using Python/PySpark/Scala.
- Experience working with different data storage options including Azure BLOB storage, ADLS Gen 2, and Databricks Delta Lakehouse.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory-based data flow orchestration & execution.
- Teradata working experience is plus.
- Past working experience in a fast-paced and agile environment Perform ongoing monitoring, automation, and refinement of data engineering solutions.
- Experience working with an on-shore / off-shore model Good Team player and ability to communicate with clients for requirements, solution definition Create Source to Target.
- Data Mapping rules with the business transformation rules by discussing with business users.
- Expert in Agile Data Warehouse using Industry model Framework, Methodology, and Data Modeling, create conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models using Erwin and/or ER Studio Suite.
- Expert in Agile software development and release management using Scrum Process, and Agile software development Tools such as JIRA. Good to have familiarity with Azure Analysis services and PowerBI.
