Job Description :
· 7+ years of experience in the Information Technology field working directly with physical and virtual infrastructure
· 5+ years of hand-on experience with networking security hardware from major vendors including Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Checkpoint
· 3+ years of experience designing and deploying large-scale, network security infrastructure.
· Experience with configuration and deployment of new corporate firewalls.
· Extensive knowledge of ACLs, NAT/PAT, and QoS
· Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching, and basic understanding of dynamic routing protocols (preferably OSPF)
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across the Network Security technology domains
· Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications
· Hands-on experience managing Palo Alto Network firewalls utilizing Panorama Management Server
· Experience with designing, deploying, and troubleshooting both site-to-site and remote access solutions
· Experience in documenting network designs using tools like MS Visio and Lucid Charts
· Ability to work with different teams to acquire the data needed to complete assigned projects and tasks
· Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages
· Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
· Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP (Enterprise or Security)
