Basic Requirements: - RHEL6 and RHEL7 knowledge
- Bash, vi, systemd, firewalld, yum, rpm
- Networking
- Installing
- LVM
Three of six of these: - 9-10 years of experience.
- Security/hardening (SCAP)
- Some type of configuration management (Puppet, chef, ansible, etc…)
- Scripting ability (shell, python, ruby, perl)
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts (problem, incident, change management)
- Knowledge of Agile concepts
- Containerization concepts (OpenShift, Kuberneted, Docker)
Preferred: - RHCSA (Certified Sys Admin) or RHCE (Certified Engineer, preferred) or equivalent. Current certification preferred, but a previous and expired cert (RHEL 6 or 7) would be ok as well.
