Role : ETL Test Lead
Location : San Antonio, TX
Duration : Long term
Job Description :
Roles & Responsibilities:
o Strong knowledge in writing complex queries for validation of ETL process.
o Good Knowledge in validating files created in UNIX env using UNIX shell commands.
o Experience in Data Analysis, Data Validation.
o Experience in Data warehouse testing either using SAP BW, Oracle PL/SQL jobs
run through Control M.
o Experience in BI report testing using Business Objects, BI Publisher
o Proficient in SQL queries? Oracle, My SQL, MS SQL, MS Access
o Solid Back End Testing experience by writing complex SQL Queries.
o Excellent working knowledge in Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Estimates, Test
Requirements and Test Case .
o Experience in creating traceability matrix mapping Test Scenarios / Test
Cases with requirements.
o Experience in waterfall and agile testing methodologies
o Experience in working with diverse team : Onsite ? offshore model
Role Specific Skills:
o ETL/Datawarehouse Testing, Functional Testing
Experience & Exposure Required:
o 6-8 years of overall hardcore functional testing experience.
o Minimum 3 years of managing ETL Projects.
o Good communication and leadership skills.
o Strong knowledge on STLC ( Software Testing Life Cycle )
o Experience working with the business and IT team diligently to execute the
activities in a timely manner
o Experience in effort estimations using industry standard methods
o Experience in defect life cycle management ? logging, replication, triaging,
verification, closing, metrics reporting, etc.
