Technical/Functional Skills
• Hands on experience on Windows, Citrix, IIS, Networking (DNS, Firewall, Load Balancing)
• Scripting and Networking
• SSL Certification updating and renewing in Linux Servers .
• Hands on experience on Linux, Middleware(MQ, Webservices, APIGEE, WebSphere, Tomcat)
• Business Objects File deployment, Server bounce activities.
• Monitoring system performance & CPU / Memory utilization.
• Installation and deployment of application code on Linux, Windows operating systems on servers
• Automation of jobs using cron scheduler
• Installation and Managing of Packages using yum
• Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting NFS..
• Installing & Configuring WEB servers , Cluster High Availability environment.
• Troubleshooting of boot related issues & the server failures and crashes and carrying out failure recovery
Experience Required
• 4- 8 years
Roles & Responsibilities
• Onshore point of contact for the applications which we are handling to team in support, documentation and maintenance.
• Work with Offshore and support as needed incase of any issues.
• Discuss the issues reported by clients in daily Support-Dev meeting, delegating the issue to corresponding team and taking the necessary steps to solve them.
• Troubleshooting and rectifying the hardware and operating systems problems, upgrading the operating systems by installing latest versions.
• Producing documentation on operating system, user procedures and guidelines.
