Interview process will be phone screen, 2nd round will Onsite or Skype.

Local candidates will be interviewed immediately onsite.

Central UC Path team, created basic training materials that everyone can utilize.  We identified some gaps to supplement or create new content.  Gone through that and working with SME’s

 

 

We will be training people who will be testers.  That begins in August.  Full scale in January.

We have some people.. .will be usings SME’s to do testing, but need 2 strong people dedicated to do this process.

 

Lot of scripts that have to be duplicated for different departments to test local systems.  Each local system can only pull down people in their department.

 

UCI seeks two full-time testers who will assist UCI's UCPath Test Lead during the preparation and execution of all test cycles. Testers will vet test cases and write test scripts. During the execution phase, these resources will serve as 'Test Coordinators,' conducting tests and guiding part-time testers.

 

Desired background and experience

•Testers should have strong PeopleSoft HCM experience and knowledge of HR systems' data architecture

·HR Modules

·SME’s Functional HCM Analyst is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

Prepare

•Vet test cases with UCI SMEs and UCPath experts to ensure validity and lack of gaps

•Draft test scripts using test cases and UCPath/UCI knowledge as background

•Vet test scripts with UCI SMEs

 

Execute:

•Serve as Test Coordinators under the direction of the Test Lead

•Work with a dedicated group of testers to execute test scripts according to the Test Lead's schedule

•Identify, investigate, and log defects in the appropriate system

•Assist testers with UCPath knowledge, execution of test scripts. Etc.
