Detailed Job Description
As a Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Location for this position is Overland Park, Kansas. This position may require 0% travel.

Basic
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred
• 10+ year of experience in Network Administration
• 6+ years of Strong Expertise in Routing and Switching
• Strong expertise in managing Data Center / Architecture, Design and Storage Networking
• Strong expertise in Multicast Routing
• Experience in Network Security services
• Experience in Voice/Video
• Administrative tasks including troubleshooting, performance planning, capacity planning and continuity planning.
• Working experience on Wireless/WIfi
• Experience in Network Hardware.
• Network Management
• Network Protocols
• Network Operating systems
• Understanding of ITIL service management
• Must be detail oriented, committed to deadlines and have solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Work with vendors to ensure maintenance coverage for all relevant IT infrastructure.
• Strong documentation & reporting skills
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
• Experience of ITIL process, Change management, Incident management and Problem Management.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Analytical and Communication skills
• IT professional with extensive experience in the engineering, administration, design and support of information systems. In-depth expertise in the design, implementation, analysis, optimization, configuration, troubleshooting and documentation LAN/WAN and Data Center
