POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the design of cutting-edge configure-price-quote (CPQ) technology for complex manufactured equipment such as Flowserve’s branded Valtek control-valve product family.
Responsibilities will include requirement gathering & documentation, product content & data management, brainstorming, feasibility studies, Solution design and build of product configuration solutions.
Testing of these CPQ (configure, price & quote) solutions across the Valves/Pumps/Seals & other Flowserve equipment, by collaborating with Product Managers/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Developers.
Lastly, this role will be a key resource in the near-future re-platforming of the business-critical control-valves sizing, selection and configuration program - Performance! NXT - onto future-proofed best-in-class platforms and technologies.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Interact with Product Owners and other stakeholders to review, elaborate, analyze, and document the requirements (including user interface, functional, and non-functional requirements)
Participate in brainstorming sessions with product engineers (PE)/developers (DE) and help in optimum solution formation.
Maintain Product Content and Data in CPQ Applications for Valves/Pumps/Seals.
Takes ownership of customer concerns, provides a timely response, and delivers high quality solutions for engineering systems and tools
