Qualifications
BS Engineering degree required in
Mechanical, Biomedical, Material Science, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
Advanced degree such as MS Engineering is plus.
A minimum of six months previous work experience in additive manufacturing is
required.
Ideally 1-3 years’ experience in
industry.
Experience with at least one CAD
software is required.
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) is
plus.
Demonstrated ability to learn new things as well as continue motivation to set
more progressive goals and achieve them
Must be hands-on and able to manage/support multiple key technical projects
Must be able to work in a
production-like environment (high quality, short deadlines, repetitive
processing of parts)
Able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment (including with
external institutions and university research centers), brainstorm solutions,
and lead change
Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving
skills are essential
Must be a good
communicator, able to learn quickly, be flexible with assignments and able to
prioritize tasks.
Must possess good self-awareness as well as organizational and emotional
intelligence
Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to travel up to 20%
