Role Description:
· Lead all application owner tasks:· Application storage hygiene.
· Rationale: Reduce the amount of required storage and cut costs.
· Parse out and familiar with ETL extract transfer and load·
· Decommission systems were applicable.
· Cut costs and overhead.
· Ready applications for upload to Azure cloud.
· Ready applications for transition and or migration.
· Identify risks and issues to the project manager.
· Work closely with Infrastructure team for platforms cloud and physical architecture.
Essential Skills:
· Experience leading application teams in migrations from inception to production release and post production validation.
· Have experience in uploading LIS applications to Azure (Microsoft cloud).
· Testing and validation for LIS systems.
· Testing for failover, back-up and restore of LIS systems.
· Experience with PeopleSoft transitioning, lift and shift to another HR system.
· Experience with ETL extract transfer and load process.
Desirable Skills:
· Familiar with Optimaxx, Smartsolve, PeopleSoft application security.
· Familiar with SOX application requirements.
· Familiar with Microsoft project suite to include Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
· Ability to provide presentation, reports and updates to senior management.
· Strong verbal and communications skills.
