JOB DESCRIPTION
Mobile architect-developer in a lead role for developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android operating systems. Demonstrable applications that you were instrumental in producing that may be publicly available in the respective app stores is a plus. 5-7 years experience as a developer with most of that time involved with mobile development. Role requires a curious mindset, a problem solving attitude, a servant leadership approach for mentoring team members, and a very flexible approach to a dynamic work environment.
Application requires knowledge of push notifications, integration of third party SDKs, Unit and UI testing experience, interfacing with and troubleshooting REST interactions with back end systems, diagnosing issues for the app environment, source code management using GIT, CI/CD using Jenkins, developer portal management and application distribution for the Apple iTunes App store and the Google Play App stores. Knowledge of Messaging systems (XMPP), VoIP architectures, enterprise systems integration are a plus.
Will be required to lead and interact with an offshore team that will be performing the majority of the work, however, emergency fixes and code analysis may be required during on-shore hours. Will be required to operate in an agile oriented environment.
Will also interact with and provide subject matter expertise on the client site for both business and IT teams on the customer’s campus in Atlanta GA, collecting and maintaining requirements, architectural best practices, performing analysis of collected performance logs and related analytic reports, providing status updates on the progress of the project, and managing to a defined budget for labor costs and expenses
