RESPONSIBILITIES: - Participate in business requirements gathering.
- Work with data analysts to translate into technical requirements.
- Participate in design sessions.
- Implement automated test solutions as per the technical design/requirements
- Document test plans and test results
REQUIREMENTS: - Strong knowledge with RDMS concepts (tables, views, functions) , SQL query development (joins, union, minus, analytical functions) in Oracle/PostgreSQL and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
- Debugging SQL queries.
- Strong fundamentals in testing.
- Experience with automated data testing.
- Experience working with Java OR python OR scala.
PREFERRED: - Experience in AWS - EC2, EMR, S3, PostgreSQL, Lambda expressions etc.
- Experience with Hive, Spark
- Passion for looking at and manipulating data
