The candidate will act as a Openshift Administrator for a series of Linux based servers and systems and will be responsible for System Administration focused on adding new software and tools that make up a DevOps environment to enable Agile development, improving the stability and performance of systems, maintaining and improving the security posture of the systems, and providing continuous system health monitoring, and troubleshooting issues that arise.
Required Skills & Experience
• Administer Linux Redhat development and production systems.
• Administer Apache Web Servers and services on development and production systems.
• Administer Virtualized and containerized computing infrastructure (based on VMWare, OpenShift, OpenStack, Docker, etc.)
• Install and maintain security patches on operational and development systems.
• Assist team with recovery and repair of failed equipment and software.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Write technical white papers, and system/server documentation. Creates technical diagrams and proposals as necessary.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Information Technology related degree.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
• Experience in Unix Administration, Kubernatis ancible, Docker containers
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining web and data services with Apache.
• Experience with Databases including Oracle, Hadoop.
• Experience with Identify Management, LDAP, Active Directory, and PIV single sign on.
• Experience with rack mounted servers and Blade systems.
• Experience with and knowledge of application development, web development and data visualization
