- This position will be responsible for Administration of IBM WebSphere Portal, Business Process Manager, Business Monitor versions 7.0, 8.5 and above. Provide support for these products in a clustered, high-availability, dual-data center environment.
- This position will be responsible for performance monitoring and optimizing / tuning WebSphere / Java Applications on the Integrated Justice (IJ) Portal infrastructure.
- This position will be responsible for implementing performance improvements working in concert with Systems Administration, Enterprise Architecture and Application Development staff.
This position will also: - Installation, configuration and deployment of ear files including BPELS and Monitor Models, in the Integration, Test, Staging and Production environments.
- Advise administrators on potential configuration changes impacting system performance, response times and throughput
- Work closely with application development, quality assurance and enterprise architecture teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in all environments
- Investigate/troubleshoot abnormal conditions within the environment
- Work with other technical groups such as the IJ Portal Admin, Messaging, and Database teams to enhance the performance of applications running on the IJ Portal environment.
- Provide verbal and written performance analysis reports.
Skills Needed - Minimum 84 months experience with the installation, configuration and administration of WebSphere Portal V6.1/V8.0 and WebSphere Application Server 7.0 ,V8.5, WebSphere Process Server V6.1, V7.0, V8.5 and Business Process Manager V8.5 in a highly-available, clustered environment
- Minimum 84 months experience deploying/ troubleshooting / monitoring / optimizing / tuning web and/or Java based
- applications in a high-availability, clustered WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Application Server environment, WebSphere process server/Business Process Manager, WebSphere Business Monitor and Alfresco servers.; includes deployment and troubleshooting of ear files and Monitor Models and experience in IBM cognos BI services. Including, working closely with application developers and enterprise architects.
- Minimum 84 months experience reviewing, updating performance test plans and providing performance recommendations for WebSphere Application Server, Portal Server, Business Process Manager, Data power and Web Server. Experience with following performance monitoring tools: Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP); IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager (ITCAM); Tivoli Performance Viewer (TPV); log analyzer; Thread analyzer; IBM Support Assistant (ISA), GC Analyzer.
- Minimum of 72 months experience HP Load Runner 11.52 (or above) Test design, implementation and analysis. HP version 11.52 TruClient and HTTP Vuser generator, recording and playback with test scenarios
- Minimum 60 months experience implementing and integrating systems related to criminal justice processing (including but not limited to: disposition processing, fingerprint identification processing, criminal history updating, Sex Offender management, tracking of Wanted/Missing persons, or initiatives related to Offender Supervision).
- Minimum 12 months of experience on Elasticsearch performance and optimization with continuously importing bulk data into Elasticsearch and index and search/query large number of documents inside Elasticsearch.
- Minimum 60 months experience administering Alfresco Document Management / Enterprise Content Management in a WebSphere Application Server environment and experience in administering and configuring IBM Data power XI50 and XI52 appliances.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with IBM WebSphere application server certification.
