Job Description
This position requires a background in Oracle EBS, 4-6 years of progressive experience in Oracle EBS Financial applications. A strong background in testing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger is required.
As a QA Analyst reporting to the Sr Manager of Quality Assurance you will be responsible for performing software testing for Deckers applications using HP Quality Center. You will be creating and maintaining manual test cases from requirements documentation and technical specifications. A QA Analyst performs the following: (1) compiles and researches client requirements for system specifications and documentation; (2) develops and executes tests and provides input on documentation of project test results and issues with Quality Assurance team members and produces reports and test processes; (3) oversees project defect database; (4) provides and adjusts estimates on tasks before and during the product development cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
60% - Develops and executes manual test plans using HP Quality Center, TOAD, Oracle applications.
20% - Reviews requirement documents and creates test cases to ensure all new/existing functionality is properly tested; submit accurate defects with clear, repeatable steps, analyzes defects to ascertain sources and nature of defects.
10% - Provides time estimates of completion of tests, and tracks progression of product through the Quality Assurance testing process. Communicates with other Quality Assurance resources, Business Analysts, Development, and User Community to ensure that QA issues are documented, tested, and applied to established product development timelines and guidelines.
