What’s special about this role:
As a Technical Lead WebMethods Software Developer, you use your extensive experience in WebMethods and integration development to design and deliver simple to complex integration solutions. You may be provided minimal objectives and will be responsible for seeking out any requirements gaps needed to successfully deliver against the objectives given. Your extensive background in enterprise integration using Software AG WebMethods will be at your core and provide you the knowledge required to navigate, design, and deliver solutions on our global integration ecosystem. Your daily collaboration skills will excel you into this role quickly to build partnering relationships with global product teams. At your skill level, you will work independently but be collaborative, manage multiple project priorities, and be expected to deliver highly performant, reliable, and quality integration solutions that showcases our teams passion for excellence.
Day to day, you will:- Partner with various teams to design/build solutions advancing our future state vision of enterprise integration
- Update the team on what you have accomplished and daily goals through various communication tools and/or a stand-up meeting
- Track your work progress in tools like JIRA/Confluence
- Work with the team and external partners to understand requirements, develop, test, and release integration solutions.
- Schedule workshops and/or meetings that may require connecting off normal shift hours with our global teams to deliver on the projects objectives
Skills to be successful in the role:- Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control tools
- A working history with AWS, Kubernetes, GCP, or equivalent cloud platforms is a plus
- Experience with various project management methodologies like agile and waterfall
- Talent to collaborate with internal partners to bring projects forward to completion
- Experience working on web services, HTTP, and REST APIs
- Working java knowledge is desired
- Great a communicator with analytical skills
Required qualifications:- Bachelor of Science or similar qualification
- 6+ years of experience designing and developing in Software AG WebMethods (9.x and 10.x) and its various supporting products like Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, and etc
- 8+ years of experience in integration design, patterns, and development in a dynamic fast paced environment
- 6+ years of experience working with integration event messaging patterns
- 2+ years of working experience working with Kafka
